Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

Draft notice: this page is a product-team draft prepared for the NIRUMOI MVP. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not legally finalized. It must not be treated or represented as production-ready legal text until it has received real legal review.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information NIRUMOI (“NIRUMOI”, “we”, “us”) collects from innovators, organizations, sponsors, experts, and other users of the Innovation Intelligence & Orchestration Platform, why we collect it, and how it is protected.

2. Data minimization: we only collect what your idea's stage requires

NIRUMOI follows a data-minimization principle: at every step, we ask for only the information required for your innovation's current lifecycle stage, not everything up front. Additional detail is requested progressively, only as your idea actually advances. In practice, this looks like:

  • Submission stage — idea summary, the problem/opportunity being addressed, and basic contact and account information.
  • Screening & evaluation stage — additional validation information (for example, feasibility notes or supporting evidence) requested only if the idea proceeds to human evaluation.
  • Matching & deep-dive stage — detailed technical information is requested only where required (for example, when matched with a sponsor, expert, or organization challenge) and is protected accordingly.
  • MVP & pilot stage — MVP and pilot documentation, requested only once an innovation reaches that stage.

This reduces unnecessary exposure of sensitive intellectual property and personal data at every point in the process.

3. What we collect

Depending on your role and how far your innovation has progressed, we may collect:

  • Account and profile information (name, email, organization, role).
  • Innovation submission content (idea summaries, problem statements, supporting documents, and — later in the lifecycle — technical, MVP, and pilot detail).
  • Payment and transaction records for the registration fee, where applicable.
  • Usage and audit data needed to secure the platform and demonstrate accountability (see Section 5).

4. How we use your data

  • To operate your account and let you track your innovation's status.
  • To screen, evaluate, score, and — with your innovation's consent path — match innovations to relevant organizations, sponsors, and experts.
  • To process the registration fee and generate receipts.
  • To send transactional notifications about your account and submissions.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.

We do not use private innovation data to train external, third-party AI models without explicit contractual authorization and appropriate user consent, and any AI providers we use are configured in line with these privacy requirements.

5. Protection, access, and audit

Private innovation data is protected by default and is not exposed to unauthorized users. We maintain access logging and audit trails over sensitive actions (for example, who viewed or changed an innovation's status), use secure file storage for documents, and keep secrets and credentials outside of source code.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain personal and innovation data only for as long as needed to operate the platform, meet legal obligations, and support the innovation lifecycle described above. You may request deletion or export of your personal data by contacting us (Section 8); some records (for example, payment and audit records) may need to be retained longer for legal or accounting reasons.

7. Your choices and consent

Where your innovation is shared with a third party (an organization, sponsor, or expert) for matching or evaluation purposes, this only happens as part of the platform's intended workflow and consistent with the stage-appropriate disclosure described in Section 2. You control what you submit at each stage, and can reach out to us with privacy questions or requests at any time.

8. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy or your data can be sent to the NIRUMOI team via the Contact page linked in the site footer.
